Tell Tales 7th January 2006
With a mere zephyr of a breeze teasing the club flag into just 3 or 4 knots of flutter, last Saturday was a great day to man the rescue boat. 2 short course races were planned. The light easterly conditions provided a sailing challenge not often encountered in generally more decisive airs of Apollo Bay. There was little or no swell to contend with. The yardstick results listed below speak for themselves.

1. Sweatshop 50.85
2. In the Pink 54.78
3. Miss Molly 61.96
4. Windswept 62.4
5. Goodison 67.57
6. Jubilation 69.47
7. Sam I Am 69.53
8. In The Blue 73.5
9. Interlude 73.99
10. Paddle Pop 74.37
11. Zappa 79.42
12. In the Poo 86.75
13. Manitou 90.25

Like the car which shared its name, the zephyr of a breeze finally gave up the ghost and the 2nd race was cancelled due to lack of horsepower.

Many, many many, many thanks to APOLLO BAY PLUMBING SUPPLIES our official club sponsor of the short course series.
