Tell Tales 8th December 2007
Saturday’s sailing again saw light winds of 10 knots hit our shores from the east! Seven boats hit the water for another go at testing their sailing skills in the light wind.

With the start sounding, Town Bike took the line honours having a near perfect start over the line with the rest of the fleet on toe. As all the boats closed the top mark, it proved this was going to be a close race with nothing separating the top four boats of the day. As the race progressed, the lead was changing hands, and as usual so far this year, the wind eased off to 5 knots for a crawl home to the finish!

The race was shortened, with all boats finishing in one way or another, although with Randall and Mary in Zappa we were not sure which way they were going but they looked to be having fun whatever they were doing!

Results:

Yardstick 1. Town Bike
2. NYAWB
3. Sweatshop

Handicap 1. Sweatshop
2. Diamond
3. Town Bike
