* Yngling Trailer
Trailer construction and galvanising finished –
looks wonderful!
Thank you to John M for sourcing grant and for organising
Michael Hooke to construct the trailer. Pete B and
Matt A for measuring up, suggesting adjustments, sourcing
and collecting lots of parts and writing lots of cheques.
Come and check it out at the Working Bee Sunday 17th
Oct, 2 days after the Paella night!
* Rescue Boat
Thank you to Russell Smith and Pete Bourne for getting
onto the rescue boat’s needs during winter.
The rescue boat is fundamental to so much of what
the club does.
* Rescue Boat Trailer
A new rescue boat trailer has been purchased with
support from Pete Sarda & Pete Bourne. Deb Tovey’s
grant application to Bendigo Bank was successful and
will cover ½ the cost of new trailer. Thank
you and congratulations Deb, who wrote a great application
really quickly. Awesome!

Pete Sarda enquired of possibility of improvements
to club to include decking, veranda/shade-cloth, wind

Current lease includes only 1m of land around the
clubhouse, Mick Heland is liaising with shire/local
harbour authority/ DSE re: possibility of updating
lease and carrying out some improvements. Go long
Mick!
Ynglings:
Mick Heland suggested for upcoming season that Ynglings
have a ‘boat captain’ and pool of core
people to streamline the care/maintenance and sailing.
All applicants make an orderly queue!!
Know Your Rules:
Play the Rules of Sailing Game designed by Ulrich
+ Wolfi Finckh. Have fun and improve your knowledge
of the Racing Rules of Sailing by viewing simulated
incidents. The game offers three levels of difficulty,
