G’day everyone, After the recent AGM, here’s
an update on who’s on the committee now.

Bill Gross has agreed to be Handicapper again this
year.
Sailing Season starts 14th October. That’s
not far off so we had all better start getting some
work done on our boats. John thought he would just
check the hull of our boat while his boat was have
a lie down on the rocks in front of the clubrooms.
The hull is ok, and so are John’s nerves now
that it’s back on the mooring, thanks to the
assistance of Ian and his harbour crew, together with
Leo and Kerry. John Lindsey replaced a worn shackle
pin on the mooring for us and all is well. What a
day!
Mandy Millar has some gear for sale as per the info
below:
For sale – brand new Musto Offshore jacket and
pants. $550. Breathable nylon. Recently purchased
on Ebay for same price. All would have been wonderful
but it’s all way too big. It is marked as large
but is in reality XL. Both Gary Millar and Russell
Smith have tried the gear on. Jacket is good (albeit
roomy) for both. Pants are a bit big on both of them
although good length on Russell. Hope this helps.

Next committee meeting will be at Russell’s
on Wednesday 30th August. Don’t forget all members
