Johanna Seaside Cottages

Johanna Seaside Cottages is a unique coastal property located just off the Great Ocean Road. Established in 1985 by owner operator Joy Evans, Johanna Seaside Cottages was one of the first self-contained accommodation providers to operate from a farming property along the Great Ocean Road. The 260 hectare coastal getaway is set on land pioneered and settled by the Evans family in the 1880s.

Nestled in the heart of the Great Ocean Road between the Otway National Park and Johanna Beach, the property offers spectacular views of the Southern Ocean, lush river flats, undulating hills and bushland. Close to the world famous Twelve Apostles, Johanna Seaside Cottages makes a perfect base from which to experience the many attractions and activities available in the area.

With seven cottages to choose from, the accredited and award winning accommodation offers something for everyone, from couples who are searching for seclusion, to groups and families looking for diversity. The cottages are individually located in private surrounds and offer a truly relaxing, personal and peaceful experience.

The accommodation, as featured on 'Coxy's Big Break', 'Postcards' and 'Getaway' comprises two architecturally designed cottages, four beach cottages and an authentic Farmhouse.

Enjoy comfortable king size beds featuring Laura Ashley bed linen, fully equipped gourmet kitchens, indulge in a massage in the comfort of your own cottage, relax in the spa or curl up by the roaring fire with a great book or DVD from the extensive library. For the more active, there is an indoor heated swimming pool and extensive walking tracks

Rivernook

Rivernook enjoys stunning views over both the valley and the coast. With two bedrooms, Rivernook sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms.

Johanna

Joanna enjoys stunning views over both the valley and the coast. With three bedrooms, Joanna sleeps up to six people.

Seaspray

Seaspray enjoys breathtaking views overlooking the Southern Ocean and into the valley. Seaspray sleeps up to four in two bedrooms

Eaglesnest

Eaglesnest enjoys breathtaking views overlooking the Southern Ocean and into the valley. Eaglenest has one king size bed.

Glen View

Glen View has great views of the waves and the tall sea cliffs, as well as over the valley. Glen View sleeps up to eight in three bedrooms.nook sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms.

Glen Tara

Glen Tara is the closest cottage to the beach and has views over the valley and the cliffs. Glen Tara sleeps up to six in two bedrooms.

Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is situated near the heated indoor pool. It enjoys views of the valley and has a large fenced outdoor lawn area. The Farmhouse sleeps up to ten people in four bedrooms.

In House Menu

Orders to be placed at least one week in advance to ensure full menu is available. All food is freshly prepared by a local chef and delivered cold. Prepared meals are individually packed ready to heat.

Pet Friendly All of our cottages have fully fenced areas ideal for dogs. Four legged friends are most welcome inside the cottages and we also provide a kennel at each.
